Film lovers in Danbury will unite with audiences across the world when the 24th annual Manhattan Short Film Festival returns to The Palace Danbury. The festival is a showcase for new voices and perspectives.
MANHATTAN SHORT is not a touring Festival; it’s a celebration that occurs simultaneously across the globe, bringing great films to great venues and allowing the audiences to select and vote on their favorite films and actors.
Join us in the lobby for photographer Liz Okon's new exhibit, NYC Moments In Time. A fine arts photographer based in the New York area, Ms Okon took part in a special projcet documenting NYC during the Covid 19 crisis. Her exhibit features imagery from before, during, and after the first year of the pandemic. It's a love letter to the endurance of New York! These remarkable photos will be on exhibit in the Palace gallery throughout the festival.
